Payara Platform October 2021 Survey Results

Jakarta EE

We’re pleased to announce that our October 2021 Payara Platform Survey results are now available!

This survey was promoted to our audience in October 2021. We shared with Payara Platform Enterprise customers and Community users via social media, emails and blogs. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to contribute!

People Like Us!

One of the first questions we asked on our survey was how likely people are to recommend us to others – on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the best). We love that 68% of people are extremely likely to recommend us!

Who Participated in the Survey?

People responding to the October survey hold a variety of job roles:

What Industries Use the Payara Platform?

We had a good idea of which industries Payara Enterprise customers are part of, but found it interesting to see the range of industries of both Payara Platform Enterprise and Community Edition users:

Where Payara Platform Users Migrated From

For this survey, we also asked what application servers our Payara Platform users migrated to us from. Unsurprisingly, we found nearly half of survey participants migrated to Payara from GlassFish. But what was interesting was the increase in users migrating from WebLogic between our surveys in April 2021 and October 2021 – increasing from 4% to 10%.

We recently created additional WebLogic migration resources to show WebLogic users how to move to Payara and benefit from our monthly releases and support for MicroProfile.
