With key advancements across all editions, this release cycle includes the much-anticipated Payara Platform Community 7 Alpha 3, introducing a ground-breaking step toward Jakarta EE 11 support. The highlight of this release cycle is Payara Platform Community 7 Alpha 3, which introduces full implementation of the Jakarta Security specification. This addition marks another important step in our journey towards complete Jakarta EE 11 support, strengthening the security foundation of our next-generation application server. This release builds on Payara’s commitment to staying ahead in the world of Jakarta EE, offering an advanced environment for developers eager to future-proof their applications.
Payara Platform Community 6.2024.12, Enterprise 6.21.0 and Enterprise 5.70.0 all received meaningful updates. Most notably, the Community edition now includes Jakarta EE MVC 2.1 API support with Eclipse Krazo 3.0.1 as the implementation, expanding options for developers building modern web applications using the Model-View-Controller pattern.
