The April 2025 Payara Platform release is here, bringing key performance upgrades, enhanced log customization, and essential component updates across all editions. This month’s releases include Payara Platform Community 6.2025.4Payara Platform Enterprise 6.25.0 and Payara Platform Enterprise 5.74.0.

Let’s break down what’s new.

Key Highlights Across All Editions

All three editions share the following major improvements:

  • Remote Syslog Server Log Customization: You can now customize logs sent to remote Syslog servers, giving you more control over your log management.
  • Connection Pool Enhancement: Added a connection pool property to disable the verification of client info properties when pooling is set to false.

Payara Platform Community 6.2025.4 & Enterprise 6.25.0

Both the Community and Enterprise 6 editions include important version bumps for core dependencies, offering new functionalities while improving performance and security:

Component Upgrades

  • Tyrus updated to 2.1.5
  • Nimbus JOSE JWT updated from 9.47 to 10.0.2
  • GlassFish External Management API updated from 3.2.3.payara-p1 to 3.3.0.payara-p1
  • Reactor Core updated from 3.7.3 to 3.7.4
  • JNA updated from 5.16.0 to 5.17.0
  • Kotlin Stdlib updated from 2.1.10 to 2.1.20
  • Jersey updated to 3.1.10
