An event banner with a blue left panel featuring small fish illustrations and the Payara Community logo. The title reads "Modern Java Security, Zero Trust Architectures with Jakarta EE 11" along with the date "Thursday, Dec 11 2025" and time "2:00 PM GMT" plus a webinar icon. The right panel is yellow and shows a circular portrait of a smiling person wearing glasses, next to the text "Speaker" and the name "Luqman Saeed, Jakarta EE Specialist". Decorative coral and fish graphics appear along the bottom.

This webinar explores how to apply Zero Trust security principles to Jakarta EE 11 applications in cloud based and distributed environments. As enterprise boundaries continue to disappear, traditional perimeter defenses no longer provide sufficient protection.

The session will show how Jakarta EE 11 features support modern Zero Trust models through:

  • Fine grained authentication, using Jakarta Security with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for context aware identity verification across microservices
  • Authorization strategies, applying attribute based access control through Jakarta Security’s enhanced authorization model
  • Continuous validation, implementing runtime security monitoring with CDI events and interceptors

With step by step demonstrations, the webinar will cover:

  • Multi factor authentication within Jakarta applications
  • Least privilege patterns for secure service to service communication
  • Encrypted data transit using Jakarta security annotations

A real world healthcare case study will illustrate how these patterns reduce risk while preserving performance. Participants will also receive a practical assessment framework and an implementation guide to help adopt Zero Trust practices in their own Jakarta EE environments.
