Deploying Multiple Application Versions on Payara Server

Uncategorized

Payara Server makes it possible to deploy multiple versions of the same application at the same time. While only one of the deployed versions can be enabled and running, all the other versions remain on the server and you may enable them at any time to immediately switch the running versions.

In this screencast I demonstrate how to deploy and manage multiple versions of the same application with Payara Server,  explain why it’s useful and how to make advantage of it in some common scenarios.

    Hi Ondrej,

    Great info! Thanks!

How does this different versions approach work on a clustered environment?

We are trying to make this work, but former version is not disabled automatically.

    Best regards
    Frederik
